This system is designed to take a musician / pianist from feeling stuck, overthinking, overwhelmed or unsure what to practice to playing freely, creatively, and confidently within the idioms of Jazz, Gospel, Rnb, Neo Soul, and Classical.

The program is divided into two phases: Foundation and Expansion/Mastery, guiding you step-by-step from the core principles of mental / psychological flow to advanced musical vocabulary and performance skills.

Phase 1 – How To Flow: Foundation

Phase 1 builds the mental, musical, and theoretical foundation required to truly flow on the piano like your favorite artists.

You’ll learn how to silence the inner critic — thoughts like “Am I doing this right?”, “Do I suck?”, or feeling tense when someone is listening or you’re recording. Through practical mindset and meditative tools, you’ll learn how to relax into the music and access creativity. These tools work for complete beginners all the way to advanced musicians.

Inside the Foundation phase you’ll learn:

Essential chord movements, tricks, and licks to build your vocabulary - inspired by greats like Barry Harris, J.S. Bach, Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, Brad Mehldau, Doobie Powell, Robert Glasper, and modern gospel keyboardists
• The theory you ACTUALLY need, from the ground up, and how to connect it directly to real musical application
• The most important skill of all: how to implement information so it becomes second nature

By the end of Phase 1, you’ll have the tools needed to begin flowing naturally at the piano.

Phase 2 – How to FLOW: Expansion

Phase 2 takes everything from the foundation and deepens it.

This advanced phase focuses heavily on groove, rhythmic feel, expanding your vocabulary, and learning to play beyond what is simply “mathematically correct” developing true musical authority at the instrument.

You’ll explore:

20 + Advanced progressions, harmonic movements, and vocabulary inspired by artists like Quennel Gaskin, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Bud Powell, Keith Jarrett, and more
• Expanded theory and modal concepts
• Technique development
• How to deeply feel rhythm, including odd meters
• The mental and physical focus points required to groove with ease
• Step-by-step demonstrations of integrating new ideas over chord progressions

This phase also emphasizes performance and real musical application.

The performances include MIDI files, allowing you to:

• Modify, experiment, and create your own variations.
